Hey there ! Thanks for stopping by my little food allergy blog and corner of the internet, Adventurous and Allergic ! I’m not the one with any allergies, however. That would be my 5 year old little ball of fun and adorableness, Breezy.
She has life-threatening allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs. She also suffers from environmental allergies, eczema and has allergy induced asthma. Without her and her diagnosis, I would have no reason to blog. Here is where I write about our adventures and her allergies (hence the name), and how we as a family strive not to keep her in a bubble just because of her inabilities.
And without this amazing, hardworking guy, I wouldn’t have my Breezy. This would be my husband.
We’ve been married for 6 fabulous years.
Together, the two of them drive me insane, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
And this is me. I have been a stay at home mom mostly all of my daughter’s life, mostly because of her food allergies. I think I can speak for most food allergy parents when I say life is a lot easier when we are the ones in complete control of her day to day. I am passionate about being an advocate for my daughter and educating outsiders on the dangers that she faces. I am a group leader for the No Nuts Moms Group for my local area, and it has given me a wonderful, supporting, virtual relationship with several other moms such as myself. You can find out more about them here !
When I’m not spending time with my little family I enjoy long walks at Target, baking, anything Disney, and pinteresting until my eyeballs want to fall out of their sockets. I hate wearing shoes, doing dishes, and brussell sprouts.
Thanks for stopping by my food allergy blog, Adventurousandallergic.com! Pour yourself a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine and stick around a while !
